Intimate Sound
SESSION STRINGS 2 draws from high-quality recordings of a small modern ensemble consisting of four violins, three violas, two celli, and two double basses. SESSION STRINGS 2 has been designed for maximum ease of use – start playing and instantly control the full ensemble. With more than five times the size of its predecessor, the dry intimate samples accurately capture vintage instruments.
Expression made easy
Bring your string arrangements to life – SESSION STRINGS 2 lets you shape notes and phrases with 14 different articulations, ranging from accent, pizzicato, and crescendo to legato.
Produce a highly realistic ensemble sound - each note in an interval has its own correct legato or portamento transition.
Rhythm Animator
The Rhythm Animator transforms chords or single notes into realistic-sounding rhythmical patterns. Choose from a large variety of presets or create your own groove, building seamless rhythmic patches and ostinatos.
Program up to 32 steps - either as single arpeggio notes or full chords, while each note can have its individual articulation. Change the playback mode from 4th through 32th or triplets and control the amount of swing of your pattern.
Instantly switch your patterns via six assignable key switches.
Smart Voice Split
Create orchestrated string arrangements with your keyboard in no time. Smart Voice Split automatically allocates each note of a chord to the corresponding instrument group, just as an arranger would do.
Smart Chord
Smart Chord lets you create full ensemble chords, using just one or two fingers. Get perfectly-built chords, orchestrated and arranged for typical strings voicings.
Color Multi-FX
Design the sound of your ensemble with the turn of one knob using a powerful master multi-effect capability. Color lets you transform the overall sonic image of your ensemble sound by selecting one of many different effects. The 51 presets are grouped in five categories from emulations of analog studio gear to heavily modulating effects.
